About me

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Tsinghua University.  Prior to joining Tsinghua, I was a postdoc research associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Princeton University, supervised by Professor Yuxin Chen. I received my Ph.D. & M.S. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign supervised by Professor Yihong Wu, and my B.E. from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University.

Research interests

High dimensional statistics, statistical learning theory, machine learning algorithms/architectures. Distributed algorithms, large scale systems. Information theory, approximation theory.
