Environmental Advisory Council .....the Path to a Sustainability in the Borough government.

The Mission

The Clean Energy Team's has created an initiative to create an Environmental Advisory Council in Phoenixville.

We need an  Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) to serve as a forum and clearinghouse for environmental and sustainability issues in the Boro. An EAC can recommend plans, programs and solutions to the appropriate Boro elected officials, appointed boards and commissions, professional staff and consultants for identification and resolution of environmental problems.

We need an EAC to help achieve our goal of 100% Renewables by 2050.

An EAC  can also be charged with the task of environmental education and awareness for the community. The EAC major role as "educator' can provide the citizens with useful information that will help the Boro to become a  more sustainable community. The EAC will encourages voluntary programs through community participation and transparency.

The Team

We are building a team of volunteers with technical experts, environmental advocates and community activist who seek to support the transition to renewable energy. Join us!
