Welcome! I am a Network Security Researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Technische Universität Chemnitz (TUC), Germany. After completing my Master of Science degree at Soongsil University in South Korea, I joined TUC in 2017 and have since conducted research in close collaboration with Prof. Thomas Bauschert. My work focuses on network security, intelligent communication systems, and emerging industrial networks. From 2021 to 2026, I completed my PhD in Network Security at TUC under his supervision.
Research Interests: Development of AI-enhanced solutions for next-generation networking (SDN, NFV, TSN, IoT, 5G, industrial communication systems) and applied cybersecurity, focusing on threat detection, large-scale attack mitigation (APTs, DDoS, etc), and intelligent automation for secure and resilient network infrastructures.

A research paper titled “DeepStage: Learning Autonomous Defense Policies Against Multi-Stage APT Campaigns” was presented at the IEEE International Conference on Cyber Security and Resilience (CSR 2026), Lisbon, Portugal.
Our research paper titled “StageFinder --- Learning the APT Kill Chain: Temporal Reasoning over Provenance Data for Attack Stage Estimation” was presented at the IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC 2026), Glasgow, UK.
