"Breaking Bad" returns for the second part of its final season after a break of almost a year. This is the 12th episode of the season with five episodes left in part 2 of season 5. With only a few episodes left before the finale things a major conflict is forming between Walter and Jesse while Hank seems beaten for now.

When we last left off in "Breaking Bad" season 5 Walter had desperately attempted to to get Jesse to leave the state and go somewhere. He and Saul together convinced Jesse that it was time to disappear. Hank was basically forced into laying off by Walter. After meeting Hank in in a Mexican taqueria and finding himself unable to convince Hank to back off, Walter pulled out his trump card. He handed Hank a cd with his "confession". In one of the most dramatic moments of the season he started off appearing to admit all his crimes, but swiftly shifted the blame on Hank implicating him as Heisenberg. He said that Hank had coerced him and used his position with the DEA and police to orchestrate the whole thing. He made it seem like he was a sick dying old man that Hank had threatened into cooking meth for him. By itself the confession wouldn't be enough to send Hank to jail, but it is more than enough to have his career ruined, particularly when Walter said that Hank's medical bills were paid for by him.

In earlier episodes of "Breaking Bad" season 5 we speculated that the medical bills would be used to tie Hank's hands. It seems we were right. Now with Hank not being able to pursue his case against Walt the only loose end is Jesse. Jesse feels angry and betrayed by Walt and increasingly thinks that Walt is a monster. However, he seemingly accepts the manipulation by Walt that he should go somewhere and start a new life. He recognizes that Walt is manipulating him but he is still helpless at the hands of his manipulation, particularly his unexpected hug. However at the end of "Breaking Bad" season 5 episode 11 we see Jesse reach his breaking point. He is waiting to be picked up by the man who will have him disappear and give him a new start when he reaches into his pocket and realizes that his weed has been pickpocketed by Huell, Saul's body guard.

"Breaking Bad" season 5 episode 11 is when Jesse comes to the startling realization that Walt was responsible for the poisoning of Brock. He realizes that Walter had Huell pickpocket the ricin off him and stole it, poising Brock with the Lily of the Valley and convincing him that Gus Fring had done it. That was enough to break Jesse's trust in Gus and convinced Jesse to help Walter kill him. When Jesse later realized that his ricin was missing he was convinced that he accidentally poisoned Brock. Now Jesse realizes that Walter planted a fake ricin capsule in his Roomba. Furious at how he has been betrayed he goes and beats Saul senseless, taking a gun from him. We see that Jesse is clearly on the war path. Walter realizes this and gets a dust-covered gun hidden in the vending machine. Jesse goes to Walter's house and starts to pour gasoline everywhere. The episode ends before we see whether he burns it down or not.
