Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental
This tut uses PSPX2 but can be used with other versions.
Please do not share this or place on another website!!
* Scrapkit Sweet by Gizaa Designs, it's free to use and you can get it at her site. Browse some more when you are there, she has some great stuff :)
* Tube of your choice, I used a tube from Caron Vinson. I got this one at CDO. (this is a bonustube, only open until April 24, see the site for details. Don't use without a license!!!
* Font of choice, I used an unfortunate event here
Remember to save often :-)
Open a new image 900 by 900 pixels. I always use a large workspace, you can always crop or resize later, floodfill with white.
Open kit sweet element 1 (the frame) in psp.
Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
Click inside the frame with your magic wand with these settings:
mode:add(shift), match mode RGB Value, Tolerance 1, Contiguous checked, Feather 0, Anti-alias checked, outside.
Selections/Modify/Expand with 25 pixels.
Open paper7 in psp.
Image/Resize to 900 pixels.
Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
Hit delete once on your keyboard.
Move this layer under the frame layer.
Make sure your backgroundlayer is active.
Take your selectiontool, with the setting to rounded rectangle:
Draw a rectangle on your canvas like this... it doesn't have to be exactly the same, it's just a quideline :-)
Open a paper of choice, I used paper13.
Image/Resize 900 pixels.
Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
Hit delete once on your keyboard.
Repeat step 13 to 19. Make the rectangle a bit smaller, see my tag for reference and use a different paper. I used paper9.
Put this layer on top of the first rectangle layer.
Make sure your backgroundlayer is active again.
Repeat the steps again but now draw a rectangle on the bottom of the tag, a bit larger than the bottom of the framelayer, see my tag for reference. I used paper15 for this layer.
Give everything a dropshadow of choice, I used: vert and hor 2, opacity 55, blur 15.
Open your tube.
Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
I mirrored mine (Image/Mirror) and put her in the corner of your tag.
Give dropshadow.
Open element2 (the tree) in psp.
Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
Image/Resize 60%, all layers UNchecked,
Move this on top of the second rectangle layer to the left.
Image/Resize 80%, all layers checked.
Move this on top of the larger tree, see my tag for reference.
Open element4 (hearts)
Image/Resize 15%, all layers checked.
Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
Move this to the top of the rectangle layers.
move this to your liking to the left.
Open element 24 in psp.
Image/Resize 20% all layers checked.
Move this to the bottom just under the framelayer so it's peeping out.
Open the flowers of choice in psp, I used a lot of them :-)
Image/Resize 15%, all layers checked.
Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer on your canvas. I scattered them around my tag, some moved on different layers, you can resize them or use the ones you like...
Give dropshadow.
Take a nice font, I used "an unfortunate event" and add your name, (null out foreground and use a nice darker color for your background) place it to your liking. I placed it under my tubelayer.
Layers/Convert to a raster layer
Give it a dropshadow of choice or use eye candy 4000, with the color settings set to fat and the width to 3
Image/Resize with 75% or to your liking.
Add your watermark and the credits if necessary.
File/Export as a jpeg :-) (Or as a png if you prefer, make sure you close the backgroundlayer if you do)
I hope you had fun making this tag
