Monkey business

Supplies
* Scrapkit FQB - Jungle fun and FQB -Hullabazoo by Mary Fran and the Lil bits. These are payed kits and you can buy them at her site Nitwit Collections here
You only need one paper from the zoo kit so you can do it with only the jungle kit if you like
* Tube of your choice, I used a tube from Suzanne Woolcott . These where bought at AMI . Don't use this without a license! (Suzanne has her own shop now, you can find it here)
*Fonts of choice
*WSL mask 262, found here
* My supplies here
(You have to have some knowledge of animationshop to make this tag)

Remember to save often :-)
Have fun!!

1 Open a new transparent image 1000 by 800, I always use a large workspace, you can always crop or resize later. Floodfill with white.
2 Open one of the papers from the kit, I used floral blue
3 Image/Resize to 1000 pixels.
4 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
5 Layers/Load/Save mask/Load mask from disk and find your WSL mask 262 with these settings:



Source luminance checked
Fit to canvas checked
Invert transparency UNchecked
Hide all mask checked

6 Layers/Merge/Merge group.
8 Open the frame cluster from the little bits
9 Image/Resize with 25%, all layers CHECKED.
10 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
11 Move it a bit to the top of the tag.
12 Click inside the frame with your magic wand with these settings:


mode, add shift, match mode RGB value, tolerance 25, contiguous checked, feather 0, anti alias checked and outside checked.

13 Make sure you have all the parts of the frame selected!
15 Selections/Modify/Expand with 15 pixels.
16 Open one of the papers from the kit in psp. I used paper stripe green.
17 Image/Resize to 1000 pixels.
18 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
19 Selections/Invert and hit delete one time on you keyboard.
20 Move this layer under the frame layer. Keep selected!
21 Open your tube of choice.
22 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
23 Move inside of the frame. When your satisfied go to layers/Duplicate.
24 Move one tube layer under the frame layer on top of the paper layer and one on top of the frame layer.
25 Go to the one under the framelayer.
26 Hit delete once on your keyboard.
27 Selections/Select none.
28 Now go to the top layer (tube) and use your eraser tool to erase the parts you want in the frame.
29 Give a dropshadow to the tube, make sure you use the bottomtube!



Horizontal 2
Vertical 2
Opacity 55
Blur 5
color black, shadow on new layer UNchecked

30 Give the same dropshadow to the frame.
31 Open the parrot and the toucan from the kit in psp.
32 Image/Resize with 25%, all layers CHECKED.
33 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.(repeat for both of them)
34 Move them to the left side of the tag, see mine for reference.
35 Open a wordstrip of choice, I used the monkey business one.
36 Image/Resize with 25%, all layers CHECKED.
37 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
38 Move this layer under the parrot layer and put him on top of it.
39 Open vine2 from the kit in psp.
40 Image/Resize with 20%, all layers CHECKED.
41 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
42 Image/Flip
43 Move this layer on top of the masklayer to the top of the tag, see mine for reference.
44 Layers/Duplicate.
45 Image/Free rotate with these settings:


Direction, right, Degrees 90, the rest of the boxes UNchecked.

46 Move this to the right side of the tag and a bit to the bottom, so the monkey can climb it when we animate.
47 Open the monkey in psp.
48 Image/Resize with 15%, all layers CHECKED.
49 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
50 Put it to the bottom of the tag, like it is holding the branch like this



51 Use a nice font, and write your name.
52 Layers/Convert to a raster layer.
53 Give all things you want to stand out the same dropshadow.
54 Add your copyright and watermark.
55 Image/Resize with 70%, all layers CHECKED.
56 Up to the animation part. Mind there are lots of ways to do this and if you know another way, please use your own preference. I will tell you how I did mine :-)

Animation

Open animationshop!

1 Back to psp, make sure you have the monkey to the bottom of the branch.
2 Edit/Copy Merged
3 In animation shop, Paste as a new layer.
4 Back in psp, move the monkey up a bit, make sure it is clinging on to something of the branch or the frame.
5 Edit/Copy Merged
6 In animation shop, Paste after current frame.
7 Repeat these steps till the monkey is on top of the frame, I used 4 steps.
8 Back in animationshop, Edit/Select all
9 Edit paste as a new animation.
10 Animation/Reverse frames.
11 Edit/Select all
12 Back to your original, Edit paste after current frame. If you did this correct you now have 8 frames and the monkey goes up and down the vine. You can check this by clicking on the view animation tab, the second last one from the right.
13 Edit/Select all
14 Animation/Frame properties and put the display time to 30
15 Edit/Select none
16 Select frame 1.
17 Animation/Frame properties and put the display time of this frame to 100
18 Yeah, we've done it :-)
19 File/Optimazation Wizzard and use the setting you like the best., or go to file/Save as and save it that way.
