Glow of christmas

Supplies

* Scrapkit Annie xmas by Missy from Scraps with Attitude. It's a payed kit and you can buy it at Aussie Scrap Design
* Tube or tubes of your choice, I used a few tubes from Suzanne Woolcott. You can buy her tubes here.Don't use these without a license!
* Mask WSL Mask 81 and WSL mask 86, you can find them here. Put the masks in your mask folder in your psp files.
* Fonts of choice
* Wordart of choice or use mine. If it's yours please let me know and I give you proper credit.
* Optional eye candy 4000 gradient glow
* My supplies here
Remember to save often :-)
Have fun!!

1 Open a new transparent image 700 by 700, I always use a large workspace, you can always crop later, floodfill with white.
2 Open three or four papers of choice from your kit in psp. I used paper 1,2 and 8.
3 Image/Resize them to 700 by 700 pixels.
4 Put one of the papers in the foreground of your materials palette, angle 0, scale 100. I used paper 8
5 Layers/New raster layer.
6 Floodfill this layer with the paperpattern.
7 Layers/Load/Save mask/Load mask from disk and find your wsl mask 81 with these settings:



Source luminance checked
Fit to canvas checked
Invert transparency UNchecked
Hide all mask checked

8 Layers/Merge/Merge group.
9 Image/Resize with 110%, all layers UNchecked.
10 Put another paper in your materials palette, I used paper 2, same settings
11 layers/New raster layer
12 Layers/Load/Save mask/Load mask from disk and find your wsl mask 86 with these settings:



same settings as before.

13 Layers/Merge/Merge group
14 Open annie xmas heart ribbon2 frame in psp.
15 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
16 Image/Resize with 15%, all layers UNchecked, bicubic checked.
17 Layers/Duplicate, now you have two hearts.
18 Click with your magic wand inside the heart with these settings:



19 Selections/Modify/Expand with 3 pixels.
20 Layers/New raster layer.
21 Put one of the papers in the foreground of your materialspalette, I used paper1 same settings
22 Floodfill the layer with the paperpattern.
23 Selections/Select none
24 Move this layer under the heartframelayer.
25 Make sure you are on the heart layer and give it a dropshadow of choice or use mine:



horizontal 0
vertical 0
opacity 55
blur 5
color black
shadow on new layer UNchecked.

26 Layers/Merge/Merge down
27 If you did this correct you now have a heart with the pattern on one layer.
28 Repeat step 18 til 27 with the other heart and another paper, I used paper8 again.
29 Image/Resize the heart with 60% all layers UNchecked and bicubic.
30 Layers/Duplicate
31 Image/Resize the heart with 75%, all layers UNchecked and bicubic.
32 Open annie xmas frame 3 in psp and use your freehand selection with these settings:



to make a selection around the bow like this:



33 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new image.
34 Close the framelayer without saving.
35 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer on your working image.
36 Image/resize with 15%, all layers UNchecked and bicubic.
37 Layers Duplicate.
38 Image/resize with 50%, all layers UNchecked and bicubic.
39 Layers duplicate.
40 Now move the hearts to where you like them and put the little bows on top of them, see my tag for reference.
41 Give them all the same dropshadow.
42 Open the christmas tree in psp.
43 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
44 Image/resize with 25%, all layers UNchecked and bicubic.
45 Move this to the left side of the tag, see mine for reference.
46 Open the 4 christmas bulbs in psp.
47 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
48 Image/resize with 10%, all layers UNchecked and bicubic.
49 Move them on the christmas tree.
50 Layers/Duplicate to get some more if you like.
51 Open the 4 christmas boxes in psp.
52 Image/Resize them to different sizes, I used 10, 15, 20 and 25%.
53 Move them under the tree to your liking or duplicate if you want some more.
54 Give everything a dropshadow.
55 Open the wordart in psp.
56 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
57 Image/Resize with 90% , all layers UNchecked bicubic, or leave it as it is, it's up to you.
58 Move this to the top of your tag, see mine for reference.
59 Open your tubes in psp.
60 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
61 Move them to your liking. I moved some of them a few layers so they are on different places in the tag.
62 Give them all the same dropshadow.
63 Take your texttool and a fancy font and write your name to the bottom of the tag, see mine for reference. I used a dark color in the background and my foreground to null.
64 Layers/Convert to a raster layer.
65 Effects/Plugins/Eyecandy4000/Gradient glow with the settings at default, only change the width to 5 and a the color to a light color from your tag. Or give it a nice dropshadow.
66 Image/resize with 80% or 70% to your liking, all layers CHECKED.
67 Add your watermark and credits if necessary.
68 File save as a jpeg :-)
