Girly Garden

This tut uses PSPX2 but can be used with other versions.

Supplies
* Scrapkit English Garden by CBJ . It's a payed kit and you can buy it at Aussie Scraps
* Graphics and a tube of your choice, I used two graphics and one tube from Jamie Kidd. You can buy them at CILM. Please don't use without a license!
* My background or make your own.
* A font of choice
* Candyas snowflake 2 mask, if it's yours please let me know so I can give you proper credit.
* Optional, Eyecandy/gradient glow.
* My supplies here

Remember to save often :-)
Have fun!!

1 Open my background from the supplies.Shift D to copy and close the original.
2 Open one of the papers in psp. I used paper 11.
3 Layers/New raster layer.
4 Selections/Select all
5 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste into selection
6 Selections/Select none.
7 Layers/Load/Save mask/Load mask from disk and find your candyas snowflake mask with these settings:



Source luminance checked
Fit to canvas checked
Invert transparency UNchecked
Hide all mask checked

8 Layers/Merge/Merge group.
9 Open one of the doodleframes in psp, I used the pink one.
10 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
11 Image/resize with 65%, all layers UNchecked.
12 Move it a bit to the top, see my tag for reference.
13 You can give the black template a color or use a paper to give it another look but I like the black just as it is :-)
14 Click inside one of the frame's (make sure you are on the framelayer!) with your magic wand with these settings:


mode add shift, match mode RGB value, tolerance 0, contiguous checked, feather 0, anti alias checked, outside checked.

15 Selections/Modify/Expand with 5 pixels
16 Open one of the graphics (or a tube if you prefer of course, if you use a tube, remember to put one of the papers into the background!) in psp.
17 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
18 Move inside of the frame.
19 When your satisfied, go to Selections/Invert and hit delete once on your keyboard.
20 Move this layer under the frame layer.
22 Repeat step 14 till 20 with the other frame and another graphic. Make sure you are on the framelayer again to start this.
23 Give the framelayer a dropshadow of choice or use mine:


horizontal 2
vertical 2
opacity 55
blur 5
color black
shadow on new layer UNchecked.

24 Open your tube of choice in psp
25 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
26 Move to theright side of the tag, see mine for reference.
27 Give dropshadow of choice.
28 Open the flowerbranc in psp.
29 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
30 Image/Resize with 50%, all layers UNchecked.
31 Image/Flip
32 Move to the right side on top of the tube so you hide her legs a bit.
33 Open the flowervine in psp
34 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
35 Move to the left side of the tag and move the layer on top of the black rectangle layer.(raster 2)
36 Give a dropshadow of choice.
37 Open hummingbird 1 and 2 in psp.
38 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
39 Put them on the vine, see my tag for reference and give a dropshadow. I duplicated one of them, mirrored and added it to the bottom of te vine.
40 Open bugs of choice in psp.
41 Image/Resize with 35%, all layers UNchecked.
42 Use your picktool to give them an angle of choice, I duplicated a few and mirrored them, just do whatever you like and how many you add is up to you. I resized the brown one a bit more.
43 Image/Resize with 75%, all layers CHECKED.
44 Go to your texttool, background color in your materials palette to a bright color from your tube, I used #a52058 and the foreground to transparent.
45 Write your name in a swirly font.
46 Layers/Convert to a raster layer.
47 Effects/Plugins/Alien skin impact/Gradient glow with these settings:


outside glow checked and the rest to default.

48 41 Add your watermark and proper credits if needed.
49 File/Export as a jpeg :-)
