Ghosts from Halloween

This tut uses PSPX2 but can be used with other versions.

Supplies

* Scrapkit ghosts from halloween past from Gemini Creationz. It's a payed kit and you can buy it at Vicki's site or at aussie scraps
* Tubes of your choice, I used a tube by Lix . You can buy them at CILM. Don't use these without a license!
* Fonts of choice, I used kunstler script for the tag, you can find it here
*Halloween template by Ali
* Eye candy 5/Impact/Gradient Glow
* Penta com/Color dot, here

Remember to save often :-)
Have fun!!

1 Open the template from Ali
2 Shift D to duplicate and close the original.
3 Remove the credits layer
4 Open a few papers from the kit in psp. Choose as many as you like, I used paper 4, 8 and 13.
5 Layers/New raster layer
6 Floodfill with a color of choice, I used ##d5d7b2.
7 Layers/Arrange/Send to bottom. This will be your backgroundlayer so if you prefer you can choose white.
8 Go to the masklayer and turn the opacity of the layer to 35.
9 Stay on that layer.
10 Open the glitterspat from the kit.
11 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
12 Image/Resize with 90%, all layers UNchecked.
13 Make the back rectangle layer active.
14 Selections/Select all, Selections Float, Selections/Defloat
15 Put one of the papers in your background of your materials palette, I used paper 8, angle 0, scale 100
16 Floodfill this layer with the paper.
17 Selections/Select none.
18 Make the small sideframe layer active.
19 Use your magic wand to click on the top frame with these settings:


mode add shift, rgb value, tolerance 1, contiguous checked, feather 0, outside checked.

20 Layers/New raster layer.
21 Change your materials palette to another paper, same settings.
22 Floodfill the layer with the paper.
23 Selections/Select none.
24 Repeat step 18 to 23 with the other two rectangles. Always make sure you have the small sideframelayer active when you click with your magic wand
25 Make rectangle frame layer active.
27 Selections/Select all, Selections Float, Selections/Defloat.
28 Floodfill with a color of choice, I used red from the tube I used.
29 Effects/Texture Effects/Weave with these settings:


gap size 1, width 1, opacity 10, weave color and gap color white, fill gaps checked.

30 Keep selected.
31 Effects/Plugins/Alien skin/Eyecandy 5/Impact/Gradient glow with these settings:



32 Selections/Select none
33 Go to the frames layer and repeat step 27 to 32.
34 Make rectangle frame layer active
35 Open spiderweb from the kit.
36 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer.
37 Image/Resize with 80%, all layers UNchecked.
38 Make raster 5 layer active.
39 Selections/Select all, Selections Float, Selections/Defloat
40 Floodfill with a color of choice, I used the same red.
41 Effects/Plugins/Penta come/Color dot with the default settings.
42 Repeat the gradient glow.
43 Selections/Select none.
44 Open the tube.
45 Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as a new layer and move inside the big rectangle.
46 Open a few things from the kit, like the spider, the bat, the flower and the star and put them on the tag to your liking. I resized most of them 15 to 20 % and duplicated a few times.
47 Give everything you want to stand out a dropshadow of choice, or use mine, hor and vert 2, opacity 55, blur 5.
48 Take your texttool and write your name with a fancy font of choice in a color that fits your tag.
49 Layers/Convert to a raster layer.
50 Give it the same gradient glow again.
51 Add your watermark and credits if necessary.
53 File save as a jpeg :-) or as a png file if you want it without the background (remember to close of the backgroundlayer if you do this!)
