Slow Cooker Pineapple Pork Ribs


~3 lbs baby back pork ribs

6 tomatoes on the vine, chopped

4 heaping cups chopped, fresh pineapple

1 cup chopped green onion, or sub 1 chopped white onion (use the green onion for low FODMAP)

2 TBSP dried basil (This is the brand I use) 

2 TBSP dried rosemary (I use this kind

2 TBSP italian seasoning (This brand is SCD legal) 

1 tsp sea salt

Optional: 2 cloves of garlic, minced (Omit for low FODMAP) 


1. Turn your slow cooker onto low heat (I have this slow cooker and love it) 

2. Add all of the ingredients to your slow cooker

3. Cook for 7-8 hours (if you can, stir them every few hours to distribute the sauce more evenly) 

4. Serve and enjoy!
