About PolyUPA

Introduction of PolyUPA
PolyUPA stands for "The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Postgraduate Association Limited" which is a voluntary and non-profit making organization established with the support from PolyU and it operates independently to promote its objectives as laid down in the Memorandum and Articles of Association of PolyUPA.

Objectives

  • To provide a platform to promote the welfare of postgraduate students of PolyU.
  • To establish a communication channel between postgraduate students and the University management on all matters concerning postgraduate studies.
  • To establish academic, intellectual and social links between the postgraduates of PolyU and those counterparts of both local and overseas tertiary educational institutions.

Membership

Full Member

All students registered on full-time or part-time research degrees or undertaking postgraduate courses of the PolyU shall be eligible to become a full member of the Association upon payment of the membership fees. 

Associate Member

All graduated postgraduate students, research personnel undertaking employment with PolyU shall apply to be an associate member of the Association individually in such forms as the Committee shall from time to time provide.

Membership Subscription

Full/ Associate Member

The subscription shall be HK$ 150 per year, payable once at the time of joining the Association.
