About Us

Puck University was founded by Iain Duncan on April 29, 2015. Iain, a former NHL player, desires to help young people enjoy and succeed in life and at hockey. His primary goal for Puck University is:

Improve access and quality of coaching and training programs. Based on his experience growing up in Toronto, Iain stresses the importance of access to quality coaching at all age levels to correctly implement the American Development Model. To make his point, notes that Practice doesn't make perfect -- Perfect Practice Makes Perfect. He adds that is why we provide NHL level training to implement the long-term athlete development (LTAD) principles of the American Development Model.
