Attached is the updated Exercise and Training Calendar (September 2012).
Please remember that the trainings that are listed on the calendar now have hyperlinks that will bring you to the website of the provider in order to received additional information and in most cases register for the course. Also please note that we have a new training webpage within the EPB website that links people to training resources for public health and health care available through the education and training centers that are funded through EPB as well as other training resources. Each of these training centers also offer on-line courses so be sure to check out each center directly for available on-line courses. The monthly training and exercise calendar is also available on this page.
You can access the new webpage by going to http://www.mass.gov/dph/emergencyprep then click on the training and exercise link and you will find the training resources link.
As a reminder, the purpose of this calendar is to share and coordinate exercises and training opportunities within the public health/healthcare community, therefore, please feel free to distribute to anyone you feel may benefit from its contents. I purposely put limited information regarding exercises and trainings to ensure that people seeking additional information contact me and then I can put them in touch with the correct point of contact. This also ensures that people do not show up announced at these events.
