HALL HIRE CONTRACT

LOCATION: At the end of Raymond Street on the Raymond Street Reserve, Point Chevalier.

HIRE CHARGE: The daily charge is $750.00 paid 30 days before the hire date.  This includes a compulsory security guard between
8pm and midnight.
 
BOOKING FEE:
A $100.00 non-refundable booking fee must be paid to secure your booking.  This $100.00 is part of the $750.00 hire charge.  The booking fee will not be refunded if you cancel your booking and/or if the final payment is not made within 7 days of the due date.

BOND:
A $1,000.00 bond to be paid 30 days before the hire date.  
The bond will be banked by the club.

Full refund of bond is based on the following criteria.

 i)    Clubhouse is left clean and undamaged (all floors mopped, tables/chairs stacked away, kitchen and toilets cleaned).  A cleaning fee will be deducted from the bond if the Clubhouse is not left in a clean and tidy state

ii)    All rubbish removed from property (not to be placed in local rubbish bins).

iii)     Music must be turned down at 10pm (to comply with Auckland City Council Bylaw - Noise Control) and OFF at midnight.  Failure to abide by this requirement will result in the forfeiture of the bond or any part of it at the discretion of the Club’s Committee at its next meeting.  The Clubhouse is monitored for compliance.

iv)  Curfew by
midnight - the bond holder must ensure the premises are vacated in an orderly and quiet manner before the 12 pm curfew.


v)
    Clubhouse is left in a secure state with all doors and windows closed and locked, and the security alarm set.

 Any bond refund will be completed as quickly as possible after the Clubhouse has been inspected.
 
HIRE PERIOD: The normal hire period is from
10:00 am on the day of the hire to 10:00 am
the following day noting the midnight curfew.  This is to give time for setting up before the event and cleaning up afterwards. We suggest most of your cleanup be complete by midnight. You may return the next morning to finish cleaning before 9am. If needed we may be able to allow some flexibility with the clean up finish time the following morning.

DECORATIONS:
The Clubhouse can be decorated to suit your occasion. Any marks on the interior that the Club deems to need repairing will be charged and will be deducted from your bond. You need to be aware that drawing pins, tape, cellotape etc mark the interior and can only be used on the wooden pine strip around the walls.

CURFEW:
Functions MUST finish by
midnight.  We ask that departing guests consider our neighbours when leaving and that noise is kept to a minimum.

ACCESS ON THE DAY: Once final payment is received arrangements will be made to handover the keys, usually within a day or two of the booking.

We expect you to respect the club premises as you would your own house.  
The club house can be used for other functions at any time, and must be left in a condition (after clean up) which permits this.
If you believe at any time, the situation has become out of control, and any of the above conditions will not be met, it would be in your best interests to shut the function down.
DO NOT hire our club rooms if you are unwilling to abide by our requests or are unsure.
