 Advocacy Committee Chair Beth Royall This committee is tasked with improving communications and relationships between school staff and families; educating families and caregivers on important issues related to the health and educational success of their children; and helping to make each child’s potential a reality

 Coordinate and organize our school garden planting and clean-up days.

Attend August Cultural Arts Festival in Wake County and work with teachers to choose and schedule five performances a year.
 5th Grade Celebration  OPEN Organize the 5th grade celebration in conjunction with 5th grade teachers.
 Hospitality, Decorating & Staff Appreciation  Week  Paige Randolph &
 Ruth Nash
Plan and organize Staff Kickoff Breakfast, Early Release Luncheons, Staff Appreciation Week, and Ice Cream Social. Decorate the lobby and spaces as needed for themes throughout the year.

Coordinates our annual family pumpkin carving night in late October.

Schedule and coordinate Ballentine's participation in the National PTA Annual Arts Program.

 Spelling Bee  Paige Randolph Coordinate Ballentine's participation in the Scripps National Spelling Bee beginning with a local spelling bee.
 Talent Show  Stacy deVente  Coordinate annual talent show that includes a Visual Arts showcase.

 Box Tops/A+ Tyson Labels  Kristy Gajowiak  Responsible for collecting and redeeming General Mills box tops, and Tyson labels. Organizes  the incentive program for classrooms.

 Solicit businesses to be represented and produce the annual discount card.
 Ordering and selling t-shirts and other items with the Ballentine logo.

 Coordinate a fun filled carnival for Ballentine families.
 Spirit Nights OPEN Coordinating with businesses and advertising for 4 spirit nights
 Loyalty Programs OPEN Assist with linking Grocery Loyalty Cards, Amazon, and more.
