Reading is such a critical part of a student's success.

We strive to foster a love of learning in all our Fireflies, and this year, we have a special focus on literacy.

Blast Off with Books Wrap Up - May 25th (T2 -May 10)

Here are some currently literacy statistics in the U.S.:

25 million – children in the United States cannot read proficiently
34 percent – of children entering kindergarten lack the basic language skills needed to learn how to read
65 percent – by fourth grade, 65% of children are reading below grade level
37 percent – of high school students graduate at or above reading proficiency
