David Luke - Wednesday 30th January, 2008, 7:30 for 8:00, £2

Upsatirs at The Devereux pub in Devereux Court, London WC2R 3JJ Opposite the Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand (near Aldwych)

An Investigation of the evidence for the reality of discarnate beings. Parapsychologist, Dr Luke, examines a commonly occurring demonic/angelic encounter experience naively induced through the ingestion of psychoactive compounds, dreams and near-death states. Speculations about the ontology of the entity are considered in light of transcultural myths, magical folklore, neurochemistry and David's simple bewilderment.
