2. Homecoming Parade with EGSC

Come walk in the parade with EGSC and show your pride as an engineering graduate student!

This is a greatopportunity to get involved in the tradition of Penn State and become part of it, network with your fellow students, and have fun!

Depends on the number of participants, we might offer free pizza/subs.

When: Friday, October 7th, 4-9pm
Location: University Park
Responsibility: Come on time and walk in the parade with
EGSC. The walk starts at 6pm, but all participants need to arrive by 4pm.

3. Haunted-U with EGSC
Haunted U is a Halloween science event for children, designed to inspire their interest in science. It features Harry Potter-themed science this year.

This is a great opportunity to share your passion in science with children through hands-on science teaching.

Free pizza and most likely, free T-shirts, will be offered to volunteers.

When: Sunday, October 23rd, 12-8pm
Location: University Park
Responsibility: Help host a successful event. Become a mentor, lab coordinator, instructor, or actor. Must complete background clearance. See attached document for instruction.

4. Sign Up and Audition is Open for Engineering's Got Talent Season 4

Engineering's Got Talent has two parts, Exhibition and Performance.

Exhibition: October 14, Friday, 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, HUB Alumni Hall

Performance: October 14, Friday, 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, HUB Heritage Hall

(Audition will be held every Thursday night from Sept. 15th at 113 Hammond Building.)


Exhibition is a gallery style showoff of Engineering students' photography, paintings, drawings, crafts, graphical designs, etc.

Performance is a talent show for Engineering students to sing, dance, play instruments, do stand-up comedies, play in a band, etc.


No worries if you are too shy to show off your talents. Come and watch!
