Why should I join? 
  • Get to know and network with other motivated psychology students
  • Gain access to publications and numerous research grants/scholarships
  • Hear from and get to know graduate students and professors in the department
  • Get a chance to volunteer and have fun!

Membership Requirements
Note that the requirements for membership in our chapter are slightly different from those on the national website!
  • Psychology major; 9 hours of psychology classes taken at UT (none pass/fail)
  • 45 hours of college course-work completed
  • Overall GPA of 3.0
  • Psychology GPA of 3.5
Note that the one-time membership fee is $80 ($55 for national registration, $25 for local) after you are accepted 

How to Apply

Go to

  • Click "Join" at the bar across the top, and "Become a Member" from its drop-down list
  • Double check that you meet OUR requirements (listed above) and not just those on the website
  • Click "Apply Now", fill in the information, and click submit!
  • Email us at if you have any questions or concerns.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY: Wednesday, September 13th by 11:59pm  
Psi Chi dues to be paid by: Wednesday, September 20th at 5:00pm
Fall 2017 INDUCTION DATE IS: Thursday, October 5th at 7:00pm @ SEA 4.244
