On the anniversary of his passing, The Strand is privileged to bring back one of the top Elvis tribute acts in the country!

With a fresh perspective on an age old tradition, Walt Sanders sets out to revolutionalize the tribute artist industry. Walt DOES NOT pretend to be Elvis, although he performs from his heart as Elvis did. There is a unique quality to Walt that puts his tribute show above all others.

****I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE by Joe DiPietro; music by Jimmy Roberts    June 2-3, 5, 7, 9-10, 14, 16-17, 19
This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as 'the relationship.' Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, 'Say, what are you doing Saturday night?'

****PEEVED by Charles Corritore; music by Michael Malthaner     July 10-12, 17, 19, 24-26, 28-29
A hilarious musical that pokes fun at those little things that make us bummed, bugged, burned, frazzled, perturbed, rubbed the wrong way...and just plain PEEVED! Cell phones...blonde jokes...phone operators who don’t speak English...People that constantly say “Have A Nice Day!”...it’s all fair game!!
