The fact that every job is different, that no two are the same, is what appeals to me most as a construction carpenter.
While attending Lowell Trade High School, I spent my co-op term with a professional framer, where I gained invaluable knowledge in assembling the structural elements of a building. After graduating, I was hired as a full-time employee, where I continued to learn the importance of good craftsmanship and taking the time to do a job right the first time. Based on my vast experience, I became automatically certified as a Licensed Construction Supervisor, bypassing the usual courses and exam.
In 1977, I founded P-S Berube Construction with a commitment to providing quality work at an affordable price. For the next three decades, I worked with homeowners and building managers in Massachusetts and New Hampshire to bring their new construction or remodeling dreams to a reality. It was an honor when one of my projects received Feature Performance Award presented by Professional Builder’s Magazine.
Throughout this time, I continue to supplement my hands-on experience with credited courses, and I remain meticulous about keeping up with international and local building codes. In 2014, I completed the CAP educational program to become a Certified Aging in Place Specialist, enabling my company to better meet the needs of the growing number of senior Americans choosing to remain in their own homes.
A native of Massachusetts, I began working in sales, retail and marketing as the owner of a children's consignment shop. I've enjoyed working for P-S Berube Construction, meeting and managing client expectations, for the past ten years. As a certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS), my goals are, provide ideas in comfort and safe modifications to the homes of clients who plan to remain in their home for life. - Nancy C.
I was born in Marlboro Massachusetts and grew up one of three children in Clinton, Massachusetts. I graduated in 2006 from Assabet Valley Technical High School in Marlboro with a certificate in Building and Carpentry. I have worked in residential construction since graduating, as well as working part-time as an electrician's apprentice. I enjoy and take pride in working on varied projects undertaken by Berube Construction. In my spare time I enjoy watching all types of sports, especially the Bruins. - Ryan H.
