Proud of our Parks Accepting Donations

Pikes Peak Community Foundation is now the fiscal sponsor for the Proud of our Parks initiative. By joining with PPCF Proud of our Parks can now accept monetary, physical and in-kind donations as well as grants. All donations should be made payable to the Pikes Peak Community Foundation for the benefit of the "Proud of our Parks initiative."

Trails & Open Space Coalition Supports Proud of our Parks

Susan Davies, Trails and Open Space Coalition Executive Director, recently met with Proud of our Parks leadership where she expressed her support for the initiative.TOSC offered tactical and administrative assistance to the initiative.

CONO Supports Proud of our Parks

Council of Neighborhood Organizations President, Dave Munger, recently expressed his support for the Proud or our Parks initiative. Steve Immel, Proud of our Parks leader states that CONO will be instrumental in recruiting volunteers from neighborhood organizations and associations near parks that have been affected by the recent cutbacks.

Catamount Supports Proud of our Parks

The reputable Catamount Institute has stepped up to support the Proud of our Parks initiative. In a recent email Eric Cefus, Catamount Executive Director, expressed his support for the initiative and offered to draft a formal letter of support. "Support of the Catamount Institute is affirmation that this is a good and worthy cause" stated Proud of our Parks leader Steve Immel. "The Catamount Institute's reach through the Sustainable Business Network will hopefully drive sponsorships of our parks by concerned businesspeople" Immel added.
