Report

There are four reports created.  Each will be on a different tab on the Report window.  The tab will display the name of the report and in parenthesis will be a count of the records in that report.



Tabs

The following tabs exist on the report window.  Selecting them will display the report.
  • Individual - Listing of individuals that have at least one missing data, source or item within a source.  
  • Individual - Complete - Listing of individuals with all of the requested data and at least one source with the requested items.items. 
  • Marriage - Listing of marriages that have at no marriage date, source or item within a source is missing.  
  • Marriage - Complete - Listing of marriages with at least one sources with the requested items.

Note: The Marriage/Marriage - Complete reports will be empty if the 'Married' check box is not checked on the Input window.  If the 'Married' check box is the only source checked on the Input window, the Individual/Individual - Complete reports will be empty.

Columns

The columns in the Individual/Individual - Complete reports are:
  • ID - Legacy file id of the individual
  • Surname - Last name
  • Given Name - First name
  • Birth - Birth date
  • Name (optional) - Status of the Name and sources (see 4.3  Status)
  • Birth (optional) - Status of the Birth date and place data and sources (see 4.3  Status)
  • Christening (optional) - Status of the Christening date and place data and sources (see 4.3  Status)
  • Death (optional) - Status of the Death date and place data and sources (see 4.3  Status)
  • Burial (optional) - Status of the Burial date and place data and sources (see 4.3  Status)
  • Father Rel (optional) - Status of the Relationship to father data and sources (see 4.3  Status)
  • Mother Rel (optional) - Status of the Relationship to mother data and sources (see 4.3  Status)

The columns in the Marriage/Marriage - Complete reports are:
  • ID - Legacy file id of the marriage
  • Husband Surname - Last name of the husband
  • Husband Given Name - First name of the husband
  • Husband ID - Legacy file id of the Husband
  • Wife Surname - Last name of the Wife
  • Wife Given Name - First name of the Wife
  • Wife ID - Legacy file id of the Wife
  • Marriage - Status of the Marriage data and sources (see 4.3  Status)
Note:  You can sort the report on any of the columns.  Just click on the column header that you want to sort by.  If the report is already sorted by that column, it will reverse the sort order.
 
Status

The values in the report cells for the Status columns are:
  • No Data - Data for that item was not found
  • No Source - The data was found but no sources were
  • Txt - If the Text source is being checked and it was found.  Will be combined with Cmt and MM if they are being checked.
  • Cmt - If the Comment source is being checked and it was found.  Will be combined with Txt and MM if they are being checked.
  • MM - If the Multimedia source is being checked and it was found.  Will be combined with Txt and Cmt if they are being checked.
  • Alive (Death/Burial only) - If there was no death/burial date and the age specified on the input window added to the individual's birth date was greater than today.
  • No Parents (Father/Mother relationship only) - If there are no parents in the Legacy file
  • No Mother (Father/Mother relationship only) - If the father exists in the Legacy file but the mother does not
  • No Father (Father/Mother relationship only) - If the mother exists in the Legacy file but the father does not
Note: If there are multiple sources and none have all the required items, the status for that cell will be from the last source.
 
Buttons

The buttons on the report window are:
  • Help - Display the Help window
  • Print - Print any or all of the reports.  (See 5.0  Print)
  • Create CSV - Create CSV files that can be imported into a spreadsheet.  (See 6.0  CSV files)
  • Again - Redisplay the input window so you can do another analysis.
  • Quit - Exit Census Finder

Comments
