Welcome to Project STRUIX

An approachable, scalable & highly modular multiprocessor platform.

After a long summer break, finally a new project post!

An example of how to use an micro SD card for storage has been added.
See the Project News below.

Also - a reminder that the latest batch of STRUIX circuit boards are still ON-SALE.

The In Circuit Programmer (ISP) construction tutorial is POSTED!!
See the Project News below.

STRUIX is a physical computing architecture designed to facilitate intercommunicating multiprocessor, multiprogram, parallel computing applications based on the Amtel megaAVR microcontroller and the circular topology of the LilyPad Arduino.

The modular system is made up of just a few components that maximize both flexibility and consistency of the system.

Using simple tools, a STRUIX system can be created in a few hours using off the shelf parts.  The assembly is clean, structurally robust, and easily ruggedized for field deployment in harsh environments.

The process starts by converting the Lilypad Arduino into the STRUIX CPU.

  • Using an SD Card for storage with STRUIX
Well, it's been a long and lazy summer.  We've been away for the last while, but are now back with more great projects for STRUIX!

The latest project is how to add a micro SD card for storage with the STRUIX system.  This has been done and repeated countless times before, but we think this is a pretty bulletproof and robust implementation that will go wherever you decide to deploy it.  Besides, it's for STRUIX!

It's project #6 on the navigation bar.

  • Build an AVR In Circuit Programmer (ISP)
Sophisticated developers agree - Another hardware tool for your Atmel toolbox is to consider building an In Circuit Programmer or ISP.

This one has capabilities similar to the legacy Atmel AVRISP - also known as the 'mature' AVR ISP.

It's project #5 in the STRUIX Projects list in the navigation bar.
