PROJECT:PDD (Pimp Daddy Destro!)

The Definitive G.I. Joe " Pimp Daddy Destro " Action Figure Resource.

About Me:

I was found in a Kansas cornfield, my home planet having been destroyed in a geological cataclysm. Humbly raised by adoptive parents, I was unaware of my celestial origins and potential greatness as an immortal amongst mankind...

...okay, maybe not.

My name is Peter H., I live in New York state, and I've been collecting 3 3/4" G.I. Joes since 2001. I am a "Destro-afficionado", in that I have focused my collection on the villain Destro. I have assembled a pretty comprehensive Destro collection, encompassing Destro items from around the world.

I mostly collect Mint In Package or Mint In Box (MOC/MIB) action figure Destro items, but also have loose items. I concentrate on Destro Version 1 (1983), Destro Version 2 (1988), Destro Version 3 (1992) and Destro Version 4 (1993) packaged action figures. But I also collect later released Destros, like the 1997 Destro Version 5 and the 2001 Destro Version 6, because they use the same mold as the 1992 Destro. I'm also a fan of the 2005 Destro Version 12, which came in one of Hasbro's terrific comic book 3-packs.

I've also made it my mission to track-down Pimp Daddy Destros, whether loose or carded. A daunting taks and it is certainly challenging! But this  sub-pursuit within my overall Destro collecting, has been a rewarding experience.

Other than Destro, I also collect 3 3/4" G.I.Joe prototypes, original artwork, and preproduction items. I love these types of items!

If you have any unique packaged Destro items (especially from Europe, Mexico, South America and Asia) or G.I.Joe prototypes or original artwork, I'd love to hear from you! Send me an e-mail!

Many thanks to all those who have helped me with information for this site. Your contributions are greatly appreciated (by me and the community)!
