Recent high school grads from Copal AA

John Gates returned from Guatemala in November and was happy to report good news about many scholarship recipients. Read John's complete report here.

He also brought a request from the Education Committee in Copal AA. They are planning to hire another teacher, purchase additional computers and expand the physical facilities. To do this they are requesting an increase

in funding from SEPA, a total of $24,000.

(This past year we gave $18,000 an amount we did not plan to repeat)

Currently SEPA does not have anywhere near the funds to meet this request. But we do NOT want to see this school fail.
