Jori Beck is a Ph.D. student at George Mason University in the College of Education and Human Development. She is specializing in Teaching and Teacher Education with a secondary emphasis in Educational Psychology. Jori is a former classroom teacher at the middle school level. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Susquehanna University, a masters degree in English-Literature from Seton Hall University, and is also a Teacher Consultant for the National Writing Project. Her current professional activities include providing professional development for teachers as well as working as a student reviewer for an educational journal. In her free time, Jori enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her friends.
