Abstract
Casual Users Leveraging LAS Data (Project C.U.L.L.D.) explores providing remote sensed data to a computer gaming environment familiar to millions of users – including many who are of elementary school age. The gaming environment investigated is Minecraft, and the data source is 3-dimensional point cloud data in .las format from LiDAR collection or other technologies storing data in a similar manner. This first phase establishes a framework for further study.
