Introducing Hybris
A sci-fi video game that follows the story of a research biologist living in a futuristic dystopia where a genetically mutated toxic jungle has rendered the planet uninhabitable to man. The game focuses on the hero's attempts to save the planet using a special "God-given" power that allows him to absorb the life-force of all living organisms and turn it into weapons and superpowers that help him achieve his goal.
Story
The world of the future is full of savage danger.
The vile mist emerging through the tops of gigantic trees hides the monsters of the present, and the sins of the past. Warped animals and strange new organisms lurk within. But a light
from the sky pierces through the mist. Away from this picture of hell, locked inside city-fortresses, humanity toils away it's misery in ignorance.

Game-play
Inspired by classic 2D Action-Adventure games like Metroid & Castlevania, Hybris brings back the retro feeling and nostalgia of acclaimed titles we grew up with, while integrating High Definition, detailed 2D artwork and animation, modernized gameplay, innovative features and rich story. Aiming to achieve the right balance between Action and Adventure, our ultimate goal is to create a game that will keep the players hooked till the end, through tough battles, demanding puzzles and engaging storyline.
