Current Job Description:

As a faculty member, carrying out  academic duties as assigned by the university that include teaching and doing research works in the undergraduate(UG) and post graduate(PG) levels.  Courses Conducted include: Electromagnetic field and waves, Microwave and Communication Engineering, Computer Aided Numerical Methods in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computational Electromagnetics, Antenna and Propagations, Signals and Systems, Electromechanical Energy Conversion, and other related courses.  Along with the above-mentioned teaching tasks, thesis and project works of the PG and UG students are being supervised and co-supervised.

For enhancing the professional capability, research and development programs are undertaken regularly. Research findings are regularly published in referred national and International Journals that include IEEE Trans., IET Proceedings and Physical Reviews (please see the List of Publications).

As the provost of the halls of residence of IUT, I have to look after the residential students for their lodging, food and security. Taking necessary steps to maintain the congenial atmosphere in the halls of residence of IUT so that students can live there comfortably. Presiding over meeting of the different committees as the ex-officio chairman and maintaining liaison with the IUT administration is hall and cafeteria related issues. Manage hall and cafeteria staffs. Maintaining constant supply of cafeteria provisions. Preparing budgets for maintenance of halls and cafeterias.

Computer literacy:

Conversant in Office Automation Software’s and networking. Programming experience in languages such as C, FORTRAN and Matlab in Windows and Unix/Linux environments and Professional CAD software’s.

 Language skills:

Bengali, Fluent in both written and spoken English. Fairly good in spoken Japanese and Read Arabic
