Creating the Greatest Possibilities of Work

A few years ago I decided that my dream job was to be an "itinerant teacher surrounded by a band of happy learners," and that my calling was "designing and facilitating transformational learning experiences."

That happens most authentically for me when I am engaged in teaching Spirit of the New Workplace to Darden or Santa Clara MBAs or to executives in half-day to two-week leadership development workshops, but I also love teaching executive sessions for Darden and outside partners on topics of leadership, teamwork, reward systems, culture, innovation, creativity, and individual and organizational change.
I live on a lake near Charlottesville, VA with my son and brontophobic dog Katrina. Besides family, my passions include baseball, music, yoga, and coffee. You can contact me at
