5  – Ning Discussion Posts in World Literature Class Forum

       (5 posts x 1 point each) (no maximum--extra posts for extra points are allowed)

5  – Community Participation Requirement – Participation in 5 campus events. At least one service event. At

      least one Treehouse event. An honor system. Separate assignment notes will be provided. (5 events x 1

      point each)

40  – Response Blogs (4 blogs x 10 points each) (extra credit blogs are allowed)

10 – Creative Midterm – original short sayings or poems, based on or inspired by Rumi and Desert Poets

20 – Content Quizzes (4 quizzes x 5 points each, given through the term. These cannot be made up. Absence

       on Quiz Day will result in a 0)

10 - Participation Pop Quizzes. Five Unannounced Quizzes for 2 points each will reward attendance and
