Based out of the Tree House Living & Learning Village in New Hall North at Tennessee Tech, Mr. Smith is an experienced, award-winning instructor committed to the scholastic success & creative expression of all students enrolled in his general education English (& other) courses.

This site details course policies & teaching philosophies. Our common goals encourage reading, writing, learning, watching, listening, & collaborating in the context of an enjoyable & engaging college classroom environment.

Regular Office Hours for Spring 2015 semester, resuming January 26: 
Monday and Wednesday: 3:30-4:30pm; Tuesday 11am-noon; Thursday 1pm-2pm 
Friday: none; Appointments always available to fit your schedule.
Random Office Hours: If I am in NHN 352, my door is usually open!
