If you ever watch the entire Luther movie, then you will see the part where Martin Luther appears at the Diet of Worms: You know, I just don't think that Joseph Fiennes looks like Luther: This is a very early portrait of Luther, from 1520, drawn by Lucas Cranach the Elder (1472-1553), who worked for the Elector of Saxony. Luther is still dressed as an Augustinian monk here. Underneath it says, 'Lucas's pen portrays the mortal features; Luther himself the eternal image of his spirit". Nice.
