But notice that there has been a significant percentage change during the past twenty years. In 1992, Christians comprised 68% of legal immigrants, while in 2012 they made up only 61%. On the other hand, Muslim legal immigrants doubled their percentage share from 5% to 10% during the same period, while Hindus increased from 3% to 7%. |
