People keep asking about the Holy Grail, so we might as well get it over with first.

The Holy Grail was the chalice used in the Last Supper that later contained the blood of Jesus as it dripped from his body during the crucifixion.
It was said that Joseph of Arimathea came to England and buried the Grail in Glastonbury...and it became integrated with stories of King Arthur and the Round Table.  But this legend was never recognized by the Church, and in any case first appears in the twelfth century in the context of Anglo-French literature, as this clip makes clear.
