Prisoners of War Ministries®

P.O.W. Ministries provide different programs according to the help that a person needs, here at P.O.W. we give referrals to governmental agencies and nonprofit organizations who are centered on helping people. SEE: the sitemap for details. For example, we may refer you to a local church, government agencies, or nonprofit that works with under privileged and unfavored individuals in your community to help them find  shelter, a job, or stay out of jail.   Relief programs exist to prevent homelessness, recovery, joblessness, and to help ex-felons from returning to prison. Many ex-felons lack support and resources upon their release.

Relief programs work with Veterans, Youth, Men, Women, &  Felons. P.O.W also refers clients to legal aid programs and pro bono attorneys to help felons expunge their criminal records. The Illinois Legal Aid program; illinoislegalaid.org explains which criminal cases can be expunged and how to find local legal help. State bar associations (professional groups for attorneys) can help locate volunteer or free legal services.

Housing, employment, medical care and counseling represent important needs for Veterans, Youth, Men, Women, &  Felons. As an Ex-felons you might be denied access to general public programs such as welfare because of criminal history, but each city offers different services. Feel free to make an appointment for New YOU Development Counseling.

Virtual Job Fair

The beauty of this job board is that the people who post jobs here are already aware that you have a felony and don't mind your record so long as you're a good employee.
