PTA SNACK SALES REGULATIONS ARE LISTED IN CHANCELLORS REGULATIONS A-812: "PA/PTA food fundraising is limited to ONCE per month. During this monthly sale, the rule respecting the sale of non-approved food items may be lifted to permit the PA/PTA to raise funds using non-approved food items not otherwise prohibited by law during the school day 
as long as the sale of the non-approved food items occurs outside the cafeteria." So basically, PTA's can sell ONLY once a month. If your PTA chooses to sell only approved snacks that is fine. If not you may sell non-approved snacks. Again, PTA snack sales are ONLY once per month. The school and students can sell everyday BUT  ONLY APPROVED SNACKS.
