Welcome to Ms. Cameron's Pre-K 4 Class - Room 104

Welcome to our classrooms!

It's time to get ready for Kindergarten!  In Pre-K 4 we introduce the basic concepts needed for a successful transition into Kindergarten.  We use a variety of learning styles to keep the children engaged and having fun while learning.

AM class - 8:00 am to 11:00 am

Full Day - 8:00 am to 2:50 pm

We follow Anne Arundel County Schools for closings and delays.

If there is a delayed opening full day Pre-K students would come in at the delayed opening time.  There is no half day program on delayed opening days.

Important Information:

Friday, February 15th - CLOSED

Monday, February 18th - CLOSED

Friday, March 15th - Pre-K and Daycare CLOSED - St. Patrick's Day Bazaar

Monday, March 18th - CLOSED

Please check your child's folder daily!

TO DO AT HOME:  Please practice identifying letters with your child. You can make this fun by looking for letters on signs while you are out and about. You can do the word searches on the kid's placemat at restaurants-look for our letter of the week and circle them all! Make it fun. Be creative.

Have your child practice putting their folder and lunch box into their back pack and zipping it themselves. Allow them to put on and take off jackets and hats by themselves. This is a great chance for them to be independent in a safe and loving environment. It makes them so proud of themselves when they can do things themselves.

This website allows you to make your own name tracing sheets for your child!  http://www.kidzone.ws/TRACERS/NONE/tracer-form.asp

Here is a good website for learning how to read. The kids will love it. www.starfall.com

Remember you must have this training to be able to help in the classrooms, attend the parties, or attend our field trips. You only need to attend one session. It is good for 5 years.

We need volunteers to help out in the classroom for specials.  You must be Virtus trained to help in the classroom!
