Rachel Duckworth is a junior at the University of South Florida majoring in microbiology. She is originally from southern Florida, but has mostly recently graduated high school at Central York High School in York, Pennsylvania. She has lived in many places around the United States, including: Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico, New York, and Pennsylvania. In her first semester at USF, Preciousmary has been involved with Honors College Student Council, USF Pre-Med AMSA, and R.I.S.E. Mentoring Program She has volunteered her time for both of these organizations for various projects and events.
Rachel is currently looking to get involved with the dental field in the Tampa area. She hopes to one day succeed in her dream of entering dental school. She would also like to conduct research concerning biology during her undergraduate years.
Outside of academics, Rachel enjoys giving back to her community through mentoring, teaching, being a member of the Theta Theta chapter of the Chi Omega Sorority and volunteering both local and abroad. She has traveled internationally for two different service learning projects and hopes to continue to make an impact on others.
