Tom the Thrasher lived in the Hokianga area in 1834, according to Edward Markham. No other details are given.
Thomas Stanley, also known as Tom the Thrasher, broke his bail in Sydney in September 1822. A 4 dollar reward was offered to anyone handing him in at any of His Majesty's Gaols. It is not known whether this is the same person as in New Zealand.
