Flood family

Arrived: 1836
Country of origin:
Area in New Zealand: Otago
Source: Whaling in Southern Waters by Frank Tod

Details: William Haberfield, a believable source, told of having Mr and Mrs Flood in the boat he arrived in which landed at Otago on 17th March 1836, 'Micmac'. He said Mr Flood was a storekeeper for the vessel and left New Zealand again in the October or November following our arrival. He had been a sergeant in the army  and a nice fellow. They didn't have any children with them.
