Details: Sydney Herald 3rd August 1837. (Abridged) Concerning the trial of Doyle and Goulding. About the middle of the night they saw a boat pass, which went down towards the Bay of Islands, and soon afterward returned towards the house where Golding lived, on the opposite side of the river, and remained there some time.
(The outcome was that Goulding was discharged and Doyle was committed to trial).
