Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser 10th September 1839.
For New Zealand on Sunday last, the schooner Ariel, Captain Stewart with sundries. Passengers, Dr Stewart, Mr Charles Ewart, Dr McNiel, Mr Graham and Mr Didsbury.

For New Zealand Friday last, the brig Christina, Captain Munn with sundries. Passengers, Messrs. Drummond, Dalsell, Marshall, Buckland, Kier, Handerd, Ford, Hannigan, McLeod, McLennan, Priddy, Conway, Keddie, Mr and Mrs Hayes, Mr Didsbury and four children and Mr White and four children.

George Didsbury, government printer, arrived as an infant and died in Wellington on the 20th April 1893 aged 54yrs.  Obituary  His father was Henry Didsbury.
