Luxin Huang is a Chinese Senior Registered Urban Planner and a Graduate Supervisor. He is the director of Department of International Cooperation and Development and the director of International Planning Research Studio at China Academy of Urban Planning and Design (CAUPD).
His current work includes administrative work on international collaboration between CAUPD and other international institutions, as well as research projects on eco-city planning, climate change adaptation and mitigation, public engagement in Planning, etc.
In 2007, Huang Luxin was elected as a deputy director and secretary general of Academic Committee of Foreign Studies in Urban Planning (ACoFSUP) & a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Urban Planning International. He was also elected as a board member of Urban Planning Society of China (UPSC) in 2009 and a board member of the Pacific Rim Council of Urban Development (PRCUD) in 2011. He is also a lead author of IPCC AR5 WGIII.
