at the 100th Ecological Society of America. Thanks Maria Snyder and the review committee!
August 1, 2015 - I am going to present my work on community structure dynamics at the ESA conference in Baltimore (Wednesday, August 12, 2015: 1:50 PM). I will also be presenting my first ignite talk at the "Heterogeneity in Animal Disease Ecology: Then and Now" session on Friday, August 14, 2015: 8:00 AM-9:30 AM !
March 20, 2015 - Had a great time presenting my work on burrow use and disease spread in desert tortoises! This was my first one hour research seminar at the Department of Biology, Georgetown University. The slides of the talk can be found here.

The jury consisted of the (Modelling Complex Ecological Dynamics) book editors, representatives of the Young Modellers and the President of the Ecological Society of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (GfÖ).
August 25, 2014 - Our paper on stabilizing spatially structured populations by Adaptive Limiter Control (ALC) is now online at PLoS ONE! This is the second paper that I have published with Dr. Sutirth Dey on Adaptive Limiter Control (the first paper in which we introduce ALC can be found at the publications section).
July 11-15, 2014 - I am attending the 6th Summer Institute in Statistics and Modeling in Infectious Diseases at Seattle!
June 25, 2014 - Our new paper on exploring community structure in ecological networks with random graphs has been published! The manuscript can be now accessed over here.
June 5, 2014 - Presented a poster at NetSci 2014 on our recently published paper. The poster can be viewed and downloaded here.
June 3, 2014 - I gave a talk on "Exploring community structure in ecological networks with random graphs" at the NetSci2014 Satellite - Complex Networks in Ecology. The slides of the talk can be found here.
March 11-13, 2014 - Had a wonderful time chatting with biologists, modelers, veterinarians and statisticians about the future and scope of modeling infectious disease in domestic and wildlife host species @ NIMBioS Investigative Workshop on Interface Disease Models.
