Pramod K. Nayar

I teach English and courses in Cultural Studies, am a reluctant traveler and febrile worker whose idea of a good time is to write.

Since September 2022, I hold the UNESCO Chair in Vulnerability Studies at the Department of English, University of Hyderabad, and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and a Fellow of The English Association.

Much of my published work is collated here. If you follow the links on the left, you will find information on my writings. The 'Essays' link  leads the more intrepid browser to, (no surprises!) my published essays (many have links to the source publication data wherever possible). The 'Books' link will give, first, a rather boring chronological inventory, but the subpages, organized around my key interests, will give you images and book jackets !
