 Biography:

Prabu currently holds an appointment with the Broadcom. Before joining Broadcom, he was associated with the Dell ( APN), NetApp, EMC Corporation, Hewlett-Packard Co (Storage Works Division /ESS/NAS Dept.),Colorado, USA and Wipro Technologies, USA. He has  collectively experience of 23 years in system and performance analysis/ testing of SAN, SoC, Memory , CPU, Supercomputing, Computer networking and Robotics(AI) ,academia/engineering.  Prior to Wipro Technologies, he held management and member of technical staff (scientist) positions at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), supercomputer (R&D) division at Bangalore, India. He applies his business and technical expertise in the supercomputing, performance engineering in SAN/NAS, computer networks, Wi-Fi and AI in robotics.

  In 2007, He was an International speaker at the Computer Measurement Group (CMG) 2007 conference at San Diego, California, USA and also the speaker at other conferences. He served/serving as a scientific/technical program committee member and reviewer for international conferences of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)/Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) and editorial review board member for few international journals. He guided several researchers/students in the supercomputing/robotics/AI projects at C-DAC and IIT in India. He authored several research papers devoted to HPC, AI, robotics, performance engineering of supercomputing networks and SAN. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in electrical and electronics engineering from  Anna University, Chennai, India and a Masters degree in Technology (M.Tech.) in electrical engineering (systems engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at Roorkee, India. In addition he attended full time System Engineering, Architecture and Lifecycle Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, USA. and a short program( one year) on Artificial Intelligence and Communication Protocol Design at Indian Institute of Science(IISc) Bangalore, India. He is an active member of  ACM, CMG and Senior Member of IEEE.
