PostalAnnex+ Moves to Help Habitat for Humanity International

Company to Donate a Portion of Sales to Charity

(Woodland Hills, California, June 21, 2006) – With the moving season quickly approaching, many families will find packing up their belongings to be time-consuming and stressful. But at PostalAnnex+, they’ll find a “moving stress-relief kit” and help those less fortunate at the same time.

Throughout June and July, the PostalAnnex+ located at 21781 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills will donate 10 percent of the cost of every moving kit sold, to Habitat for Humanity International. Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity International has built and rehabilitated more than 150,000 homes with families in need, becoming the true world leader in addressing the issues of affordable housing.

“While there are millions of people planning to relocate their homes this summer, there are just as many who cannot afford housing at all,” says Edwin Akhavan, owner of PostalAnnex+ in Woodland Hills. “We thought we would do something to help both groups at the same time.”

The moving kits come in three sizes: small kits for 1 bedroom and small 2 bedroom apartments, medium kits for large 2 bedroom apartments and extra large kits for 3 bedroom apartments or homes. Each kit includes boxes, bubble wrap, tape, markers, blank newsprint paper and labels. In addition, PostalAnnex+ can deliver the kit directly to the customer’s front door!

PostalAnnex+ is a privately held company founded in 1985 and headquartered in San Diego, CA. There are nearly 300 locations owned and operated by licensed franchisees. For more information, visit postalannex.com or call (818) 713-2626.
