COME RIDE WITH US!

Posey Hollow Horsecamp is located in the heart of the Ouachita Mountains at the base of one of the tallest peaks in Arkansas.  The camp is located in the isolated old community of Posey Hollow near Mena Arkansas.  It borders U.S. National Forest on two sides and offers access to over 75,000 acres to those who want to experience the outdoors on mules or horseback.  Trails are easy to rugged and steep, and offer breathtaking views of Fourche Mountain, mountain streams, and wildlife.

Primitive camping is available now in this remote and quiet location.  We also have campsites with electric and water hookups.  Bathrooms with showers are available to campers.  A barn offers stalls out of the weather and pens are available to accommodate your livestock.  Ice, firewood, and hay are available on site for your convenience.

Four wheelers are restricted to designated trails by the USFS and are prohibited in the area surrounding Posey Hollow Horse Camp.

Directions from Mena:  Take Hwy 71 N through Acorn to Iron’s Fork Road (Polk 70).  Go 7.2 miles East to County Road 306 on the left.  Follow up through the gate and you can’t miss us!

Directions from Anywhere:  Click Here  Just make sure you come in from Hwy 71 to avoid miles of dirt road.
